We truly enjoyed this 15 day cruise (LA to Ft. Lauderdale). Princess continues to be a quality experience with decent entertainment & relatively good food. .I do have a few minor complaints: 1) the ash trays need to be emptied more often, 2) the public restrooms occasionally ran out of soap, 3) the service at dinner was very slow, often taking 2-2 1/2 hours; 3) the room service breakfast menu was less than extensive. (On Celebrity we could get lox & bagels). 4) Our dining experience the Bayou Café was disappointing. The steaks were full of gristle and not very tasty. 5) I spilled a box of dry cereal in our room & it was unnoticed (or ignored) by our cabin steward All that being said, we really did love the cruise.

The ship is clean. There are plenty of activities, the staff are generally very friendly & helpful. Our tour of Cartagena was spectacular and the Panama Canal was fascinating. We especially enjoyed the sea days. They sanctioned bridge games every day which my wife adored. Trivia was always fun although the prizes were pretty tacky, even by cruise ship standards. We loved our Princess cruise to Alaska & this one lived up to our expectations (although nothing quite matches the grandeur of Alaska).

The cabin was clean and quite adequate. The bathroom was a little small, especially the shower, but this was expected. Our steward was fine except when he failed to vacuum the spilled cereal on the carpet (that I had spilled).
