Sail Date: Dec 2013
Traveled with children

This was our first time on time sailing with Norwegian Cruise lines. We sailed on the Epic Dec 14, we went to St. Martin, St Thomase and Nassua The Bahammas.

Our room was on deck 8 room 8007 and 8009. They were balcony rooms but what we didn't know was that the balcony was classified as enclosed because it was at the front of the ship. Which really wasn't to bad. The rooms were very nice. Was different having the way the bathroom and shower were one on each side with frosted windows. But really that wasn't to bad.

The ship was great. The shows were a better then the shows we had on our cruise ship the year before. The Blue Man Group was awesome and 2nd City Comedy was great.

Cabin Review

We had the rooms 8007 and 8009. There was four of us in our group. These cabins are at the front of the ship. They are balcony's but they are whats called an enclosed balcony. Which means you can not sit down and see the ocean you have to stand up and look over the rail. The reason for this is because your so close to the front of the ship and it prevents you from being sprayed by ocean water. The room was great. The bathroom was a bit funky, having the shower on one side with frosted doors and the camode on the other side with a frosted door. But really that wasn't very bad. The sink is out in your room which was nice so you could brush your teeth while someone took a shower. There really wasn't anything I did not like about our rooms. You had to use your pass and sail card for the lights but I managed to figure out that as long as there was some sort of card in the slot the lights stayed on so I used my library card in the slot so I did not have to walk into a dark cabin. And I did not feel that our cabin was crowded even though it is layed out different then most cruise ships.
