This cruise had promise but failed to deliver.
I have cruised 15wks with HAL/Princess/Celebrity and now 11 days with Cunard - unfortunately!
I am a wheelchair user and on all previous cruises have been offered help in the Buffet 'restaurant' but not on Cunard. The 'pursers' aka Customer services told me that "It is our policy not to help".
They would not even carry a tray of food for my wife in Kings Court buffet.
Testing this further up the chain of command then the terms and conditions get pushed at you and indeed they do say that you must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Ts&Cs for most cruise lines are similar. but they still helped out anyway.
What is different about Cunard? The ships walls are often describing 'white star' service when they would walk guest's dogs.
The situation might have improved if the food had been good - it was only good when you paid more in specialty restaurants - otherwise it was lower standard than the other cruise companies
Embarking/Disembarking was quick and easy but that was credit Southampton docks staff (who still help!)
Cannot comment on shore excursion because (as usual) there were non suitable
Cabin was OK - the bathroom was a little tight
Public spaces -OK but avoid the 'pub'
Entertainment - a good classical pianist, Roy Walker was funny, singers were average
