If you enjoy walking you will love the Carnival Breeze. It's a long ship, 3,000+ feet. Most passageways extend the length of the ship, which is convenient. Bathroom toilet paper covers are metal and very sharp in the public areas. Decor was hum-drum. There was little evidence of excitement on deck. Activities were poorly promoted, what there were of them. The food was pretty good overall. The ship was COLD! The interior public areas of the ship from the dining rooms to the casino, et al, were air conditioned to a very uncomfortable degree.  Speaking of the casino, don't expect to win on the slots.

The itinerary...Grand Turk-7am til 2pm sucked...Curaçao-2pm til 11pm was horrible...LaRomana, Dominican Republic and Aruba times were more or less "normal" but there wasn't a whole lot to see or do. Bear in mind I'm 71 and have a difficult time walking long distances of 100-yards or more and I'm more of a sightseer and history aficionado rather than a beach-goer, snorkeler, swimmer, diver. If you're into the aforementioned you'll have a nice time. Kids will absolutely love the on-board "water park". One last note, the seas were very rough out and back and the wind across the open decks was at near gale force day and night and would chill you to the bone. Anyhow, 'nuff said. Enjoy!

Cabin Review

Very roomy and comfortable. Pillows "thick and unyielding".
