Leaving Miami was the most beautiful part of the journey. We enjoyed the ship even though she had age. Our room , 9578 was larger than most. Kefon did a great job keeping out room clean. The food in the dining room , our table 65A, waiters Jasper and Jude ,, was excellent and so was the service. We did eat once in the buffet and all the food was awful, tough, and dry. Pizza was great and Johnny Rockets was a great change. But breakfast in the buffet was really good.
They had a great package for wine and dine. We made use of that and had some great wine discounted quite a bit.
The entertainment was pretty good. I love the juggler/comedian. Our cruise director was amazing. His ability to talk fast in several languages so everyone understood what was going on was amazing. All the staff everywhere were just so helpful.
Nassau was very disappointing. the piers were run down, the entrance to Nassau was not pleasant. We walked in and right out again just seeing all the cheap store fronts. We spent the day at Blue Lagoon Island being in the water with a dolphin. Awesome experience. We spent so much time after watching the training being done. The trainers were so eager to teach us about the dolphins. Wonderful location but wish it was warmer.
Key West was breathtaking. Beautiful town. Lovely experience. Went to Hemmingway House for a great tour. Then to Sloppy Joes where my grandson said we had to go. Great food. Packed, Live entertainment. So much fun. And of course we went to Key West Factory for real key lime pie and brought home their cookies and key lime. We will definitely go back to Key West again.
