Our third MSC cruise...

MSCs 'Children go free' option make it an excellent cost effective holiday option, typically paying only about £100 port taxes per child, if you share a 4 berth cabin.

This is our third MSC cruise and we largely we knew what to expect:

Good:

Food was Italian orientated and always top notch.

An army of very able and friendly waiters,bar staff and hotel services, many were Balinese.

Great itinary, plus Venice itself, Kotor, Santorini and Dubrovnik are the best stops in our view, but all are worthwhile.

4 berth cabin had just enough space to be comfortable,

The ships overall are excellent well maintained and if you want some peace you can find some ( Card room + rear decks ).

Enjoy sailing with a big mix of passenger nationalities.

Bad:

Entertainment a bit too sequins and feathers for our liking.

Italian staff often appear aloof and unfriendly.

Poolside gets very crowded. More

Don't rely on MSC to entertain your children or teenagers - they can't.

Do join their members club as if you intend to cruise with them again you get some good perks. Less
