First of all let me say the cruise was a great time for this family of 3 - my wife and I, and our 14 year old son. My son spent a lot of time with other kids on the boat he met through the teen club called Circle C. The boat is nice, but has some issues Carnival is obviously still dealing with.

First the good:

The boat is nice, as it was just refurbished. The rate we paid to get on the boat was very good for three of us. The food selection is good, but I can't compare it to other cruise lines because I have only ever sailed Carnival. Our cabin was clean, and our room steward was very courteous. Our favorite part was the Dining room where our waiter (Dimo from Bulgaria) was a real great guy. He would spend time with us, answer our questions, and just have a conversation. We really enjoyed his hospitality. The Maitre d (Ken from Ireleand) sang Frank sinatra songs every night for the entire dining room. He was also a very good guy, and come over to us and talked with us numerous times, as he did with all the guests. There was another waiter on the boat named Javier who was a great guy as well. Over all, our Dining experience was a good one.
