We enjoyed a lot about our cruise on the Liberty.

Sail Date: January 2014
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: Miami

We enjoyed a lot about our cruise on the Liberty. The ship was incredibly clean with crew cleaning constantly. Service was great as staff was friendly and welcoming. Other passengers were very friendly whether at meals, in the hot tubs, or activities. We had dinner in the Silver dining room every night. Each dinner offered an "unusual" dish including alligator fritters, escargot, and frog legs - all of which were well prepared and fun to try.

We liked the location since it was very close to fore stairs with easy access on and off the ship while in port. We were VERY glad we got a room with a window and didn't feel like we missed much by not having a balcony. The room was behind the elevators so had very little foot traffic as people generally went directly to their rooms and not by ours.

The first few days the sound was so loud on the Lido deck that we did not enjoy the music. Later in the week they turned it down and we were able to listen. The evening shows in the More Venetian were well done, especially the dancing. Dancing was also great in the Cabinet with the 3 piece Latin band and in the atrium lounge.

The ship was mostly non-smoking, but smoking was allowed in the casino which made it impossible for us to enjoy it. We ended up avoiding that deck altogether when going from oneend of the ship to the other. Too bad since they had a good band playing in the casino haze.

The water slide was terrific! Also enjoyed using the gym and got plenty of exercise walking up and down the stairs from our room on the Riviera (lowest) deck. Less
