Sail Date: Dec 2013

It was our first time with P & O and in the Caribbean, we have cruised on NCL and Carnival previously in the Med.

We flew with Thomson on a 767 in premium Economy and it was a good flight with plenty room, entertainment and food. It was great that we got off the plane and straight onto a bus and direct to the ship without having to go into the terminal or through passport control and our bags were delivered to our cabin a couple of hours later - no hassle. From landing we were on the ship within an hour.

We had a mid ship suite on the Riviera Deck 14 (we were extravagant because it was my 50th Birthday celebration). We thought the suite was really nice (but not WOW) and I loved the bathroom with separate shower cubicle and jacuzzi bath, was a bit disappointed that our balcony was covered so didn't get much sun and there was no flat sun loungers on our balcony only the chair type sun loungers. We also got a butler who was very nice and made some reservations and helped us out with quite a few things and we got to have breakfast in seventeen restaurant (which was wonderful). On the last day we had to vacate our cabin by 8am so we paid for a day cabin, (as we didn't leave the ship till late afternoon) and we got a superior balcony cabin on deck 11 which was also very nice and I would be more than happy to stay in next time considering the difference in price.
