The ship is a bit tight size wise for the 2,400 passengers it held for the Country Cruise we went on...rooms w/ ocean view port holes are a bit smaller than other lines, hallways tight, as were public areas. This ship was built in 2006 and is being maintained well but, it's design & some fixtures are starting to show their age. I think I would take into account a ships age and probably not go on anything more than 6 years old.
Room was well kept & clean but, just a bit smaller than other lines we've been on. It's a matter of a few inches but, one side of the bed did not allow passage for one of the guests in a King room. That could have been solved by not designing a desk that had useless trim work that extended out just far enough to block access (or move the bed over an inch or two).
The food was very good, they always changed the selections and the hours of operation were much better than some other lines. They have freestyle dining and it seemed to work well as you could get into any dining room with no wait. We did speak with other passengers on other NCL ships in various ports and they said they had to wait for what they felt were long times to be seated & served. Our ship had constant entertainment provided because it was booked for a Country Music theme so, it's possible that under different circumstances we could have had wait times ?
