Sail Date: Jan 2014

We booked the cruise back in the April 2013 to sail in January to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We are a couple 50 and 55.This was our 3rd cruise in total, booked Celebrity due to the 123 promo and took the free beverage package. We flew down the day before and stayed overnight at the Cambria Suites and rented a car from Budget - glad we did as there were lots of flights cancelled due to weather.

We arrived at the port at 10:30 am and we were in a separate line for Consierge class - we were on the ship by 11 am, the embarkation was quick and efficient. We looked around the ship, stopped at the pool bar and had a drink ( I upgraded to the premium drink package for $10 a day) We then met friends at Bistro on Five for lunch it was very good. They announced that our cabins were ready at approx. 1:30pm. This was our 1st balcony so we were very excited to see it. We treated ourselves to the Consierge class and were on deck 10 the sky deck, the extra perks was great!! The first night was lot of fun, we booked QSine for dinner and it was excellent and then we danced to the DJ music til quite late. On the Monday we went to the Future cruise office and booked another cruise for next January - we thought the ship was beautiful and with the benefits of booking on board we thought it was a good deal. We also dined at Murano and that was excellent too!! The onboard entertainment was excellent and the captain was awesome - very friendly and visable during the week. We ordered room service for breakfast for the first few days but food arrived cold, we enjoyed the buffet the best for breakfast. We had dinner in the MDR several times but did not like the 8:30 time, way too late to eat such a large meal. We were able to get into the Sincity show and that was fun?? There is not really anything negative I can say about the cruise , other than the people that hog the chairs early by the pool, the pool butlers could have done a better job enforcing the area, I was out by the pool at 7:30am to get a spot for the day, the other thing is the chairs in the MDR are so heavy to move and uncomfortable to sit it, neither are these are deal breakers for us however- we really enjoyed ourselves and cant wait to go again. We were late getting off the ship but that was ok as we had a later flight home. The disembarkation process too about 30 minutes in total.
