Thomson Celebration Cruise Review by ani03: Disappointed

We looked forward to our cruise on board Thomson celebration, booking a cabin with a balcony.
When we embarked onto the ship we were immediately shown to our cabin, started to unpack when the cabin steward informed us it was not ready and could we come out of it.
Ok we thought we will go and have a drink while waiting, armed with our personal identity cards we presented to the barman - who put a charge for the drinks on it, although we were all inclusive. At reception we waited approx 20 mins to speak to someone, who could not seem to find our A.I. booking, however changed our cards. After an hour or two we returned to our cabin, but could not gain access, the cabin steward told us we had not been given door card, once that was sorted we found our safe would not open, however this was repaired very quickly.
The toilet in the cabin had a "sanitised" cover over the lid, but upon opening it the toilet was dirty - back to reception again, the cabin steward told More us he had cleaned it again, but it didnt look any different - there were 2 cushions on the bed that were soiled.
My husband had a graze on his arm, which marked the sheet - this was not changed all week
We also found some crockery in the self service restaurant that had not been washed properly.
We may sound like professional complainers - can assure you this is not the case.
On a positive note the staff were all very friendly, the entertainment very good. Food average.
Lastly there are hand gels everywhere to prevent spread of the norovirus, bit of a joke when standards of cleanliness are not excellent.
Both of us had gastroenteritis a day or two after leaving the ship.
Would we book another Thomson cruise - no Less
