Our balcony room on the 12th deck was good and could not fault steward services. However, I find it most objectionable that on a 12 night cruise for the cost, bed sheets were only changed once - after five days. I would expect and would get better than that in a Motel.
There were far too many children- 480 we were told on this 2,200 passenger cruise. There were times when it was impossible to get near the swimming pool because of unruly teenagers who were not checked by deck crew (or parents!) even though signs clearly said that diving and jumping in pool was not allowed.
For almost the entire length if the cruise there was dripping from ceilings in various locations to such an extent that buckets had to be out in various public areas. Whilst formal dining restaurant had excellent service and food choice, attitude of buffet restaurant staff was generally just not good enough. There was also a poor lack of ship activities on shore days for passengers who did not wish to go ashore. No movies or activities which we have had on other Princess Cruises. We were on the cruise over Christmas and a disappointing quality of activities for this occasion. Generally entertainment was tired and disappointing. To top off the whole experience there was a nasty virus which hit many of the passengers during the Cruise and it just made us look forward to the end of this cruise.
