Sail Date: Nov 2013

Cruised across the Mediterranean (Istanbul to Barcelona) with my wife and another couple in November, 2013. What a wonderful itinerary and ship. Could not have asked for more. The cabin was very comfortable and had plenty of room/storage. The bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub. The service was impeccable. Every member of the crew that we met was friendly, helpful and very upbeat.

The food onboard was wonderful. We did all the specialty restaurants except Red Ginger, and the food at all was cooked to perfection and well presented. Our friends went to Red Ginger and loved it. We did the Exploration Menu at La Reserve, and feel it was well worth the price. The wine was perfectly paired to the food, which was really special. The main dining room was excellent. The food, ambiance and service were among the best we have had on a ship.

There was a good selection of excursions to choose from. The only downside is that they seemed to be a bit overpriced. The guides, however, were very informative. My wife took a couple of the culinary excursions and enjoyed them very much. She also took a couple of cooking lessons onboard, which she enjoyed.
