Profile  we are sixty-ish, enjoy traveling; this is our second cruise.

Embarkation/Disembarkation  Started with the Port of Galveston parking. Although they advertised possible covered parking the day of the cruise, when we got to the parking lots, they said they did not have covered parking for Grand Princess. Seems as though the covered parking area was not serviced by the ground transportation. We went to the only competition  they offered a cover for the car. Price was $55 with cover. Port of Galveston was $70 uncovered. Bus transportation was efficient in a well worn bus. Just fine. (Grade B) Port of Galveston facilities were ok. The Galveston Port Authority should make them a little nicer considering the positive economic impact. We arrived at the counters around noon. Took about 20 minutes to clear security. Got on board in surprisingly short order. When we disembarked, we chose the Walk Off option; although fog made the ship one hour late to dock, we were off of the ship within 45 minutes of docking. (Grade B)
