Our first time with Celebrity. We stayed in Suite 6146. We were met at embarkation shortly after 1:00 pm by Ashley, an assistant to the Captain's Club. She gave a long stemmed rose and escorted us to Michael's Club where suite guests could wait until cabins were ready where we were provided with canapes and champagne. We only waited 20 minutes and then were walked to our suite by a butler. Butler? What were we going to do with a butler? Our fabulous butler was Peter and our mutually fantastic steward was Bernard. Our suite had fresh flowers, cold champagne, fresh fruit, just beautiful. They both made us feel like we were their only two passengers.
Peter made dinner reservations for us at Normandie our first night which was awesome. The lobster dish I had and the filet my husband had were out of this world, just perfect! We also had dinner at Qsine. Pack your appetite, this place was crazy good! meatballs the size of softballs and the best white sangria ever! All the food, buffets, dining room and room service was above average.
We went on excursions on all islands but St. Kitts, Celebrity offers every activity possible and it was hard to choose. I went several times to the Spa and enjoyed the seaweed wrap, pedicure and massage. One small issue, the ladies are quite pushy selling their spa products and i have a hard time saying no. We were hesitant based on what other reviews were out there about the Summit, but it is a beautiful ship, Captain Leo came over to us in El Bacio and thanked us for choosing Celebrity. We have zero complaints and will only sail Celebrity from now on (have sailed Carnival, Princess and Norweigan).
Beautiful marble bath, 2 sinks, separate shower, very clean, quiet, fresh flowers, very large suite, gorgeous art.
