Sail Date: Nov 2013

We've sailed about 15 times prior to this trip, and this was our first on Oceania. Frankly, we were drawn to this cruise because of the price. It was end of season and went to some ports we've not previously visited. We've not sailed on the top-of-line ships such as Seabourn, Crystal, Silversea, but we thought Celebrity was just wonderful. Oceania was a cut above Celebrity.

This was a new ship; everything was in good order, clean, shiny, sparkling. Service was excellent -- the ratio of passengers to crew was the best we've experienced. Food is tops -- the speciality restaurants were outstanding -- and with out additional charge. The cabin was good, except for the location of the closet. Only one person could be using the closet at a time, and it blocked one side of the bed. Liked the bathroom with a tub and shower.

Had never bought a cruise before where the cruise line arranged air travel. This works out fine. The flight were good, timed well, on time, comfortable. We paid a little extra to enable selecting our own seats. Next time we use Oceania, we'll explore upgrading to business class if we're taking 2 long flights.
