My partner and I joined the Sea Princess in Brisbane for a round trip to New Zealand. As we were platinum card holders embarking was a breeze. Our baggage went to our stateroon quickly and we were able to unpack early afternoon.

As we were originally booked on the Sun Princess in August from Singapore to Fremantle which was cancelled due to electrical problems we were able to spend four days on board till they were able to fly us home we found that a queen sized bed was very difficult to get into and out of as both sides were close to the side walls and so on the Sea Princess we booked single beds giving us more room. I think if the beds were a little higher we would have no problem putting our baggage under the bed. The stateroom was small compared to the Diamond Princess which we had travelled on earlier in the year to Beijing. The bathroom was very small ( one could soap up the wall of the shower and do a piroette around the wall to wash).

For its age the Sea Princess is kept in perfect condition. The meals on board were first class and we tried the later time for dinner instead of the earlier time which we were used to on other cruises. This time was perfect for this cruise.Entertainment and activities couldn't be faulted.
