Ship Facts: Diamond Princess Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Diamond Princess Deck Plans
Fabulous cruise apart from the entertainment!

We sailed from Singapore to Sydney on the beautiful Diamond Princess. Boarding was so efficient and easy and our luggage was delivered to our Mini Suite in no time at all. We booked a mini suite as it was a long cruise but really didn't need to, a balcony would have been sufficient. We spent so little time in the cabin that we didn't need the extra room and the bath took so long to fill that we didn't use it. However we had a fabulous cabin attendant and our room was always spotless after he had been in.

The cruise was amazing, all the ports were brilliant, the ship tours were great and because of the way the Diamond Princess is built, there was never a problem getting beds at any time of the day round any of the pools.

Loved the food in the dining rooms and the buffet. The staff were always extremely friendly and helpful and the bar stuff brilliant.

I went on the Ultimate Ship Tour which I would highly recommend. Fantastic experience and everyone from the Captain down to the kitchen staff were so friendly and had plenty of time to spend explaining the workings of every part of the ship and had photos taken with us. It was all so interesting and we saw parts of the ship that you don't normally see. The laundry room in particular was a great thing to experience.

The chocolate dipped strawberries at most stops were delicious.

The only negative was the Ship Entertainment in the Theatre. Very disappointing shows but the movies were good as long as you hadn't seen them the day before at MUTS.

Overall such a fantastic cruise on such a beautiful ship that as soon as we arrived home we booked our next cruise on the Diamond again!
