A fabulous introduction to the cruising life

We will definitely consider cruising again after this experience.
The Princess staff, from our room attendant to our table waiter and drinks waiters and bar staff (got to know these people very well!), we were treated like royalty. Nothing was too much trouble. No request too difficult. We had heard from other cruise passengers of the luxury associated with cruising, but I was still surprised.
Embarkation was seamless and in no time we dropped our carry ons in the room and were off to explore. The Dawn Princess, whilst not a monster ship when compared to some, was plenty large enough for the exploration to take most of the afternoon.
The food was fabulous. The wine lovely. We purchased 'soda packages' for our three teenagers once on board and this was a fabulous idea. We didn't have to worry about what they were buying. The staff were so helpful, even sorting out a power board thingy so the kids could play interactive computer games on their three separate More computers one rainy sea afternoon.
The only downside, and certainly not the fault of Princess, occurred when we arrived back in Melbourne after disembarkation. No taxis. None! Over 2000 people want to get off Station Pier and we waited for hours. Seriously Melbourne, sort this out. It was the perfect opportunity to showcase our fabulous city.
We'll be back soon Princess Less

Cabin review: B208
Plenty of room particularly seeing as we were so busy during the day we were rarely there. One day we'll treat ourselves to an outside balcony though!
