Traveled with children

We embarked the Explorer of the Seas at the Port of Miami on December 31st for a 7 day cruise with ports of call in Belize City, Costa Maya and Cozumel Mexico and Grand Cayman. We travelled with our college age son and his girlfriend. Our main concern was that since this was a holiday there would be a lot of young, rambunctious children. Well, yes, there were children, but we did not encounter ONE problem. Kids were kept busy and very well behaved and enjoyable in the dining room!

The ship is beautiful! Staterooms more than generous in size and the showers are great! Our cabin attendant was friendly, but, could have been a bit more visible. Perhaps he was over scheduled! Our room was serviced nicely.

The food was wonderful, however, we are not picky eaters and room service was fast! Service was excellent! The pool was not as crowded as we expected on a holiday cruise unless you did not show up until mid afternoon!
