The Explorer of the Seas is a true delight. It is beautifully designed, easy to navigate, and filled with activities to please every taste. This was our first cruise with the Explorer and we were impressed with the warmth of the crew, the diversity of the travelers, and the high standards of cleanliness on board. From the moment we boarded until the time the cruise ended we just loved everything about our cruise.

The food in the dining room is varied, fresh, and most importantly at the right temperature. The waiters aim to please and are family friendly. The entertainment was enjoyable. Don't miss the ice show. The singers and dancers work hard and aim for perfection. My favorite group was the Happenings who sang See you in September and other all time hits.. The crew director is highly energetic and extremely funny and talented. He organized some very funny events for example, the Quest, the battle of the sexes, the 70s night and the marriage game. Bingo was fun and your chances of winning are very good ones. The promenade is the best place to spend an evening offering a sports bar, a cigar bar, a 24 hour café and more. Loved the colorful parade as the finale. If you have children, the camps are exciting and just a wonderful opportunity for the children. This has to be one of the best organized crew ships I have ever experienced and we have been on at least 7 other cruise lines.
