This was a repositioning cruise, the ports were fine and the crossing was windy the first full day at sea then warm for sitting out on the deck or balcony. I like the Silhouette or smaller Constellation better. One reason was the cruise directors Sue and Paul B were more animated and just more full of life - the director and passengers did not seem as "excited".

The food is the same menu on all of Celebrity ships the quality is fine: but I do not know what the chefs discuss in Miami once a year, as the daily change menu was almost a copy of last year's two crossings I did. The staff in the Cafe al Bacio were super, Kenny in the Passport Bar was great and remembered passenger's favourite drinks. The staterooms are all the same, decor and set up. I was in Concierge Class - stateroom attendant and assistant vary from efficiency to friendliness. My assistant knew my name and was more outgoing. My stateroom attendant although reserved in personality was substandard. The notice board beside the daily newspapers posts "singles" and "LGBT" gatherings daily at "X" bar and time. They are not hosted by Celebrity, hence for a single gay wandering through the Martini bar just wanders and walks away as most are couples - but no one to actually introduce. Singles should be classified as Solo - as some are actually single, divorced, widow, widower etc. but not looking for a "hook-up" as the classification implies. This single event was not hosted either. Celebrity needs to do more in those two areas especially as I'd calculate half of the crew are gay.

The daily snack at 4pm was fine, interesting combinations but I'd like cheese and crackers with my wine. The only upgraded toiletries was shower gel, the soap and shampoo/conditioner was the same as the lower priced balconies. The towels need to be more fluffy. I had to write notes to the stateroom attendant to leave the deluxe carry bag, no chipped no dirty glasses on many occasions. There was a piece of paper from past passengers under the bed. There was a strip of mold in my shower but that was attended to by the assistant. Other than the last minute deal (upcharge) for C2 if paying regular price difference - put it in your pocket - you also get one more point for Captain's Club.
