Sailed on the Breeze 12/15/13. We were a party of 6 (4 seniors & 2 almost middle aged). Flew in from NYC to Ft Lauderdale the day before. Had a shuttle reserved from Eagle to take us to our hotel in Miami - would definitely recommend them. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Port of Miami. If the hotel can correct issues with their elevators (painfully slow), then I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The location is great - close to the port, shops and restaurants right there as well. While they don't have a free shuttle, we were able to get a shuttle van for $5 a person, can't beat that.
Embarkation day: smooth and efficient. We all had faster to the fun, however we really didn't get to board that early, due to the hotel elevator issues. Anyway once at the port things moved right along. Went right up to the counter and checked in. It probably was no more than 20 minutes from check in to photo op to getting on the ship.
The Breeze - just as beautiful as I had anticipated. You can look at pictures all you want online before you go, but nothing compares to that first real look. The atrium was beautiful, and was decorated for Christmas.
2381 - love the balcony but unfortunately experienced a strong sewer smell and wasn't able to enjoy. Ended up switching cabins
