Happy New Year!!!
Embarkation: Bayonne (Cape Liberty)
Excursions: We purchased the transportation to Disney World since we already had park hopper passes. Due to the afternoon arrival of the ship, by the time we arrived at Disney the Magic Kingdom was closed and we had to go to Epcot. Knowing it was New Year's Eve, RCCL should not have sold this excursion. We were lucky because we saw the fireworks which were spectacular!
Arrival TImes in Port: We arrived in Nassau, again in the afternoon and was on the beach at 3:00 p.m. which didn't leave much time for sun. A word of advice, if you are going to Coco Cay make sure you are off the boat early. We More got there at 10:00 a.m. and had to search for a chair.
Dining Room: We chose any time dining and had Nazareth as our waiter who gave us great service. He always asked if everything was okay or if he could bring us something else. The desserts left something to be desired. Their banana creme brulee was the speciality dessert, which was not good at all.
Cruise Director: Leigh and Erky from Turkey were great. We caught the honeymoon game show on tv and laughed our heads off. They were very entertaining.
The New Year's Eve party in the Royale Promenade was great! Packed with people, champagne and food. We had our own mini Times Square.
I feel that RCCL is starting to nickle and dime passengers. For the electronic bingo machine it cost $51. For the last bingo, they raised the prices, as the cruise staff said a little, to $81 - approximately a 57% increase. There were many boos throughout the Palace Theater.
The last time we cruised on RCCL was when the Oasis came into service. I have seen many changes since then.
We always wanted to spend New Year's Eve on a cruise and we can cross it off our Bucket List! Less

Our cabin was very spacious with plenty of storage spaces. Closet had extra shelves. Not too far from the mid-ship elevators but only drawback was if you took the starboard elevators, you had to walk through the library to get to the port side. At times, we were in mid conversation and disturbed some passengers. Iris, our deck steward was great! She kept the room in tip top shape.
