Sail Date: Dec 2013

We left on a rainy Sunday and arrived at the entry of Port Bayonne. Unfortunately it took over an hour to drop us off with our luggage. We spoke with a baggage handler and he said three hours ago the place was chaotic. I think RCCL and Celebrity should look into how they can make the boarding and leaving experience better. Since we are Platinum members boarding went pretty fast.

Excursions: We purchased the transportation to Disney World since we already had park hopper passes. Due to the afternoon arrival of the ship, by the time we arrived at Disney the Magic Kingdom was closed and we had to go to Epcot. Knowing it was New Year's Eve, RCCL should not have sold this excursion. We were lucky because we saw the fireworks which were spectacular!

Arrival TImes in Port: We arrived in Nassau, again in the afternoon and was on the beach at 3:00 p.m. which didn't leave much time for sun. A word of advice, if you are going to Coco Cay make sure you are off the boat early. We got there at 10:00 a.m. and had to search for a chair.

Cabin Review

Our cabin was very spacious with plenty of storage spaces. Closet had extra shelves. Not too far from the mid-ship elevators but only drawback was if you took the starboard elevators, you had to walk through the library to get to the port side. At times, we were in mid conversation and disturbed some passengers. Iris, our deck steward was great! She kept the room in tip top shape.
