Having been cruising with Thompsons for over 10 years we were bitterly disappointed in this cruise. We have read other people's reviews of the time and totally agree with everything we have read. Standards have fallen drastically. Not once did I have a fancy towel designed into an animal not once did my bed get folded down with a chocolate and your nighty decorated into a design, Why? cabin crew are given too many cabins to look after and do not have time to make their guest feel special.

Bar staff run off there feet due to less staff no time for any banter. No 24 hour buffet which is still advertised in the Thomson brochure. Dining was another let down we dined in the formal dining room most evenings service was very slow food was warm wine waiters were scarce and we were left sitting with empty glasses through our meal, that never happened in any of our past 14 cruises.

We are booked to go on a 2 week cruise in July on the Thomson Dream, we are seriously considering cancelling this to a land holiday instead. The changes seem to be all through the ships according to the Thomson ships latest reviews. I was so disappointed in this cruise and do not want a repeat experience. My advise Thomson's pay attention we are going elsewhere and unless you make drastic changes we won't be the only ones.

Cabin Review

Cabin same as last time we were on this ship platinum meant small plastic kettle. Three times we had to report our toilet not flushing to reception. Again very disappointing.
