Worst Cruise company

Sail Date: December 2013
Destination: Africa
Embarkation: Other

If this had been our first cruise, it would have been our last! There is nothing good that can be said about this company. Using hotel ratings - the best they would get is 2 Star and that would be pushing it.

Start with the cabin ..... the cabins are in serious need of an upgrade. The beds need new mattreses - definitely new pillows - the bedding is long past their 'use by' date - seriously, dismal describes what is in use here.

The food experience - where to begin - if a chef cannot fry an egg, what hope is there? The evening meal that is normally a highlight, was appalling! We decided after the first night to try again, thinking it may have been a once off bad situation. But no - nothing can remedy what is offered. The rest of the cruise our evening meal had to be what was on offer at the Terrace - where at least we could see what was on offer looked like.

The entertainment was generally good - nothing exceptional, but good enough. The staff are More the only redeeming feature - they were friendly, polite and always tried to please.

I can only presume MSC operate differently in the rest of the world or they would not survive. Less
