This was our first time cruising and we decided on Carnival. We really enjoyed the cruise. From our room steward, Joseph, to our dining room server, Rosanna, the staff was great!! Everyone was willing to help and always had a smile on their face! They always called you by name which is pretty amazing. I don't know how they learn to remember so many names.
The ship is older, but it was kept clean and all times! They never stopped working.
The room was very nice and very large! The cabin steward was always available and he did a fantastic job of keeping our room up. The only criticism I have about the room is there is really no way to control the actual temperature in the room. Our room was always cold (but we like it cold) and at times it got a little too cold for us.
The shows were really good and entertaining. My favorite was the "Far From Over" show on the last evening. It was full of energy and the music was fantastic. The "show band" was incredible. Those guys are very talented! The Punchliner Comedy Club was fantastic! They kept you laughing and both comedians we had were great!
The weather in Freeport and Nassau wasn't the best. In fact, in Nassau it rained most of the day. But you can't blame that on Carnival. They had activated going throughout the day to keep people busy if they chose not go off ship.
This was a very enjoyable trip and we cannot wait to go again.
