Good New Years Eve Cruise

My wife and I just returned from the New Year's Eve cruise on the Miracle.

We had a great time last year on the Splendor New Year's Eve cruise, but would rate this cruise a bit lower. The problem to us is that the entertainment on this ship was sparse. The activities staff seemed pretty clueless. What ever happened to Carnival being the Fun cruise line?

We found the hotel and restaurant staff to be outstanding. The best we remember in many cruises. Food was okay.

We enjoyed the excursions. We did the all inclusive resort on the first day in Cabo, the the semi-sub on the second. Our table mates in the MDR did the Rhythms of the Night in Puerto Vallarta and raved about it. We went to the Ocean Grill near Boca de Tomatlan and really loved it, though the taxi ride was a little pricey.

This was our first cruise on a Spirit class ship and found it to be a nice layout, but the Miracle had more than a few scratches and dents. Less
