Sail Date: Dec 2013

My husband and I left on December 27th for our New Years cruise on the Splendor. We took the train, cab and were on the ship by 11:30 am. We were greeted with smiles and the ship was nicely decorated with a holiday theme with trees and garland throughout the ship. I found the colors on the ship pleasant not shocking, and it is a beautiful ship.

The food on the buffets were very good, I enjoy the deli, the rotisserie, wok, and the different food at each buffet. We loved the brunch on sea days and started each day with a excellent Bloody Mary Bar. We like to relax and they didn't rush us at all, the steak and eggs were great and the salmon was very good We went at each sea day. The dinners were very good to excellent each meal was served hot and portions were very good We did go to the Steak house on New Years eve, I will say it was an off night and it was not the best I had at the Steakhouse.

We had an inside spa cabin, loved it!!! the room did seem a bit smaller than other Carnival inside cabins but their was plenty enough room. Our cabin was 1018, close to the spiral staircase to the spa. We did get 2 free classes of Yoga as well, we went to every morning stretch and abs work out (free)

Cabin Review

Nice cabin smaller than other inside cabins but love the spa, There is no couch but 2 chairs and table. I would book this again!! You do get Elmis products, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion
