Costa Magica was a beautiful ship and is always kept very clean. Our cabin stewart was one of the best we have had on any of our 15 cruises. Cabins: spacious balcony cabin and well appointed. The washrooms were large and had a great shower. Beds were a little hard for our comfort but not a great problem. Noise level was kept to a minimum.

Ship: Very clean but always seemed to be busy. Some large ships make you feel like there are fewer people on board but this one didn't. There were mainly Europeans on board(mostly Italian) and a sense of personal space was not evident during the week. Getting onboard was quite a long process, about an hour in a long Q. If you have a suite, you get a much smaller line. Disembarkation for us was very fast(about 15 minutes wait).

Itinerary: Was excellent. Jamaica and Caymans were the usual. Roatan and Belize City were interesting. Took a private tour in Roatan with Bodden Tours for the day($50 for 6 hours split with another couple) and the beaches were very nice. Belize had a very long tender(looked like 5 miles plus and rough on very small local tenders). If you stray outside the little gated shopping area, make sure you are on a guided tour...poverty is very high and so is the crime rate!
