Pax's were 2/3 Eur and Canadian. Older crowd, but very nice!! Plenty of space aboard to move about. Maybe 10 kids on whole ship. Very tastefully decorated. Not the gaudy Las Vegas neon, outer space crap. Food in main dining was good. Asian Fusion restaurant was awesome! The Italian restaurant was very good too! Themed night was great and entertaining.
In fact, just staying onboard was totally relaxing. Never felt rushed, hassled and the pax's were great to socialize with. Enjoyed that as much as anything.
Drink packages were very steep for USD!! Unless you were using Euros. But you could bring beer & wine onboard, until Jan 1, 2014.
Jacuzzi's & pool closed around 8:30 pm. BIG DOWNER!!! Many pax's came out in their robes to get in only to find them all roped off every night. No, they didn't use seawater. They were fresh water, so they didn't need to be "flushed" every night. Never seen jacuzzi's closed that early. Need to change that policy!!
Ports of call:
If you haven't been to these places, ok. But if you have, oh well. We just wanted to scuba dive @ 2 places & relax @ the rest.
Grand Cayman was Grand Cayman. Unless you bank or scuba dive, Jimmy Buffett's would be a highlight.
Cozumel was Cozumel. Duty Free zone right as you get off ship. GREAT place for scuba diving. Otherwise just shop & enjoy Pancho's.
Key West was Key West. Luckily we had a friend who manages a Sports Bar there.
Would we go again on this cruise line? Yes we would!!!! :-)
Santa Rosa Wall is a must!
Grand Cayman was Grand Cayman. Unless you bank or scuba dive, Jimmy Buffett's would be a highlight. Tour lady was very friendly and courteous.
Eden Rock Shore Dives
Port Everglades to Half Moon Cay- Very nice island. Enjoyed that way more than Carnival's, Royal Caribbean, Disney's. Could have stayed there a couple days.
Same old same old.
