embarkation was a nightmare! Do not listen to the Carnival reps. we were told 3 times by 3 different reps that we did not need birth certificates or passports, only an enhanced drivers license. We asked what an enhanced license was, we were told it was a license with 2 pics on it. There were 5 people in our party, 2 of us had birth certificates, the other 3 had what we were told was an enhanced license. We did not have enhanced license! 1 of us was able to get someone to fax a copy of the birth certificate, the other 2 were unable to cruise. We were told the reason for needing the birth certificate was to disembark. Well when we did disembark. the only thing they checked was our driver license. We had booked 2 cabins. And come to find out they had double booked one of our cabins. It took 2 hours to straighten it out. The ship had to be held up for 30 mins just waiting for us to board.

FOOD: It was awful. dinner service was ok but the food was lacking. Breakfast was the best, and the hamburgers. But there was always a long line.

The best time we had was when we got off the ship in Nassau and Freeport.

Cabin Review

The cabins were nice and spacious.
