Sail Date: Dec 2013

We sailed from Baltimore on December 14th. The embarkation and disembarkation process in Baltimore is quick, efficient and well organized.

We knew from the start that five (5) sea days might be an issue as far as on board entertainment. Royal Caribbean did not do much to help that issue. Their daily trivia games were too difficult except for those who "live and breath" trivia. I thought those were supposed to be "fun". And two of the crew members who emceed those trivia games are from Mexico, and really need to hone up on their English, since the majority of the passengers spoke English;

The planned stage productions were less than wonderful--two of the four lead singers hit more than a few sour notes. Then there were the extra acts brought on board; Steven Thomas is a very good comedian ; the Divas of Motown were alright; "Puck" is an excellent magician; the Brazilian dance duo were lackluster; Finis Henderson was excellent; and the comedian Dean Austin should have stayed on shore.

Cabin Review

Since this is an old vessel (1996) staterooms are smaller than newer vessels. Taking that into account, we found the room adequate, clean and in very good condition. Not much room to store luggage; suggest you "nest" them as much as possible and store them next to the chair or you will decrease the closet hanging space. Stewards are very good and friendly.
