My hubby and I sailed on the Breakaway out of NY in September. We love Norwegian so was looking forward to sailing on the new ship. Even more excited that it was leaving out of NY since hubby does not like to fly. We stayed in a Spa Mini balcony cabin. Was disappointed in the size of the cabin and the small balcony. We were however impressed with the size and layout of the bathroom. The year before we sailed on the Jewel and thoroughly enjoyed our mini balcony suite which was half the price of the cabin we had on the Breakaway. The hallways on the Breakaway are also small. You have to turn sideways to allow another person to pass by.

What I did enjoy on this cruise is the ship itself was beautiful. The staff was awesome. We took advantage of some of the specialty restaurants which we enjoyed. Since we have traveled to Bahamas and Florida many times we took full advantage of the pool are on board. We were happy that we were able to enjoy sitting by the pool because on some ships it is a challenge to get a good spot. We met some wonderful people on this cruise.

Can't wait for our next cruise.
