embarkation was long, but was orderly. we did disembarkation as a walk off and it was perfect.
my husband is a big eater, so he wants me to write about the food. First off, room service was very sparse compared to other ship we have been on. However, they did have pizza that you could order for $5 that wasn't too bad. the two main dining rooms had good fod, but really poor service. to be fair, i think that they had to change staff because of the disaster in the phillipines, and i think that the staff was overworked because of a passenger staff ratio...but nontheless service was substandard. So we went to the optional dining rooms, which were fantastic. We tried Cagneys, which was superb. The steaks were perfect, and the desserts were spectacular. We ate the Le Bistro, which blew my mind. I could have eaten there every night. We tried the Asian place, which was the only disappointment of the bunch (overcooked food).
We also had a very nice time at the spa, where we bought the thalassotherapy pass. Worth every $$$ we spent on that extra. You can actually enjoy a hot tub without the little kids jumping around. Absolutely recommend it if you have no children.
well worth the couple of extra dollars...good sized space and great balcony and lots of storage.
