Beautiful ship with a young family crowd

Sail Date: December 2013
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: Miami

My brother and I ( 23 and 27) went on a six night cruise on the Breeze and had the time of our lives. The boat surprisingly consisted mainly of young couples and families with singles and older families sprinkled in. There were virtually no young children, which made the trip more enjoyable. The boat was beautifully maintained and in terrific shape. We were even in sustained 40 MPH winds one night with seas of around 20 ft and we could feel it rocking, but it was nothing like some o the other ships I've been on - it was very sturdy.

The staff was very friendly and respectful. the seventhe floof aft is a great location because three floors up is the main pool deck and two floors down is the piano bar, night club, comedy club, blush dinner area and the casino. Can't beat it. inside cabins are small, but we only used the room for sleeping so if that's what you're looking for, go for this

Pros - new ship, good layout, fun crowd, plenty to offer all types of people, piano More bar was amazing, good comedy shows

Cons - eggs at breakfast were not very good quality, the pool deck played movies as early as 9 am when all I wanted to do was sip my mojito and chill, late seating for dinner is a long time to wait, but service was fast

Overall it was an awesome trip and I would do it again in a heartbeat! Less

Port and Shore Excursions

Really cool how close the ship gets to the beach where most people relax. easy disembarkation and there aren't a bunch of pushy locals trying to hustle you for a banana boat ride. If you don't do an excursion either relax on the beach or hit up Margaritaville - out of all the Margaritavilles I've been to, this one was the best by far.

Fun Port. Senor frogs is awesome if you're young and looking to have a fun time. If you're slightly more refined, go to the Atlantis resort and buy a pass for one of the exclusive beaches. you won't find any drunk college kids there and you can walk around all the cool aquariums as well

Dunn's River Falls

If you're adventurous, skip the long line of people waiting for a tour guide and climb the falls by yourself. you won't be linked up to anyone so you can see much more of the falls and go at your own pace. plus, you don't have to wait in the endless crowds of people.
