We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teen boys). This was our 3rd time on the Explorer, our 4th RCL cruise and 5th cruise overall. (boys, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd). We love the Explorer. Great size ship, fantastic crew, and most importantly we can drive to port (about 8 hrs., so it saves on flight costs). We got a fantastic deal on 2 inside staterooms on deck six. The Explorer isn't the newest ship and while there are signs of wear and tear, it's nothing that should affect your enjoyment of the cruise. I sure she will look great after her upcoming refurb. We are looking forward to Quantum coming to Bayonne, but will definitely miss the great deals you can get on Explorer.

Fantastic wait staff at our 2nd seating in DeGamma dining room. Food was good, and the lobster tails were amazing, best cooked lobster I've ever had.

We sailed 3 nights then 4 port days of St. Maarten, St. Kitts, San Juan and Labadee. Weather was great in all (a couple 20 min rain showers here and there, but mostly sunny blue skies). We didn't do any ship excursions this trip but did book a Tour of St. Kitts privately through a taxi service that was fantastic.
