This was a very fast paced cruise. Ten ports in 12 days gave you a taste of Europe but it was exhausting. For the first time European traveler it was almost too much. You should understand that there is not enough time to see everything in each port.

We went in October and experienced perfect touring weather, upper 60's to lower 70's, however, a couple days of rain. It should be noted that it is dark by 6:00 that time of year which made the Venice port very frustrating. Cruising into port at 12:00 noon with Venice on both sides and an Italian opera playing on deck was a moving experience. We docked at 1:00 and due to poor organization on Princess' part we did not make it to St. Mark's Square until after 3:00 pm. This gave us less than 3 hrs. to see it all. Considering we had to be packed to disembark at 5:30 am the next day we really felt cheated in our Venice experience.

There was a couple things that disappointed us with this cruise. First, it seemed that we had the worst docking positions. This I am sure saved Princess some money but caused the passengers to pay for transportation into port. This added expense should have been addressed in the tour description.
