Spouse & I sailed first time on Liberty of Seas and had a great experience. Sailed from Ft Lauderdale to Labadee Haiti, to Falmouth Jamaica back to Ft Lauderdale over 5 nights. Ports were bookended with fuil days at sea, so very relaxing.
Liberty of Seas is very impressive, with 14 decks. Our stateroom was on deck 9, mid-ship so we felt very little movement of the ship. Pool activities started on deck 11, shops on deck 5 so we were ideally situated. Stateroom was magnificent with balcony opening to pleasant ocean experience. It had plenty of room with everything we needed (and room service was fantastic!). We opted for My Time Dining which worked very well. There are plenty of food options, we preferred flexibility and timeliness of Windjammer. We opted for replenishment package (bottled water, premium coffee & tea) but quickly learned that it wasn't needed as coffee and water were available everywhere.
Transfer to / from airport to port was flawless, no problems or long delays encountered in boarding or disembarking ship. Labadee was fantastic, we opted for cabana at Nellie's beach which was fantastic. Wish we had more time as it was perfect. In Jamaica, we did dolphin touch and dunn's river falls which were wonderful experiences. Dolphin cove was amazing, highly recommended. Vendors at both ports were aggressive but never felt unsafe. On board entertainment was great, from comedians to ice show.
Only negative encountered was in leaving, at Ft Lauderdale airport as Delta airline would only allow check in within 2 hours of departure (even though a service was offered from ship that would have bags checked regardless of time, with extra fee involved). We along with hundreds of cruisers milled around on floor until allowed to check in, really disappointing farewell to our cruise.
