This was my third NCL cruise, one of the highest anticipated, and one of the largest disappointments. There were four people in our group that have been on cruises before and are generally very fun and positive people. We had an average vacation on the Breakaway but it’s because of our group and our willingness to work hard to make the cruise enjoyable. If we didn’t get access to the Vibe, didn’t get to all the shows, and the great company this trip would have been rough. To our surprise we spent a considerable amount of time reflecting on what needed to be better on the boat…bummer because it’s an impressively beautiful ship.

I have another cruise in March that we booked but in all honesty are reconsidering because of the first experience.

Cruise critic didn’t paint the prettiest picture of the boat prior to the cruise. I tried to exercise brevity below, I spent a considerable amount of time explaining the experience:

Loved the room wish the balcony was bigger. Read my review of the cruise for a way to enhance your shower experience.
