The cruise was the WORST VACATION EVER. I cried in the first 24 hours and wanted to go back home. The food was horrid only the paid restaurants were decent. There are 4 free restaurants and 10 paid restaurants that range from $15-$30 per person. O’Sheenan’s Restaurant should be shut down and never reopened.
My room was not clean at all on the first day. The shower was never cleaned and the sheets had urine and blood stains on them. On many days the rooms were not properly clean.
The customer service at guest services and the wait staff was extremely ridiculous. Most of the workers were extremely unhappy or did not want to help you at all or did not know anything.
The theater and pools were always overcrowded due to how the ship was constructed. The adult lanai pool is not fully remodeled. The pole bar in the pool broke and the staff did not want to protect the guest from injury or fix the issue. They took 30minutes to fix the issue. Norwegian’s Private Island, Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas is always on the itinerary but hardly visited on this sailing & past sailings this year. Please read other reviews and they will confirm the private island statement.
I spent more time being upset and crying then actually enjoying the cruise. The only highlights are the beauty of the ship, the spa and the cruise director, Sinan and his team. Go on this cruise if you want to hang out in the spa all day and be besties with the cruise director and his team. Good Luck to those have already paid to go on the Norwegian Breakaway.
Never went due to mysterious weather a few hours before the ship left Port Canaveral and we did not feel any rocking of the ship near Bahamas.
Alantis, the Straw Market and Tortuga Shop is the best. Do not buy any jewelry in this port. I went to Diamonds International and the diamonds were fake and flawed.
Nothing to do but go to Disney or Go Shopping. Coco Shopping Area is deserted. Go to the Merrit Square Mall or Orlando Premium Outlets if you have time.
