Celebrity Reflection Transatlantic

Sail Date: November 2013
Destination: Transatlantic
Embarkation: Rome (Civitavecchia)

We arrived in Rome on the day of sailing and Celebrity was right there at the airport to greet us and get us to our bus for the trip to to port. Things could not have gone smoother. We arrived at the ship just in time to board and then go to muster. Our luggage arrived shortly after muster.

We loved the look of the ship. The art work on board is incredible. Our cabin was nice, but the storage was not good for a two week cruise. Very lacking in drawer space. Our cabin attendant was very good.

I found the buffet area to be very confusing and crowded. The music they pipe in there is terrible. It drove me crazy, but then I am old and younger people might enjoy it. The food was okay, but nothing out of the ordinary.

The dining room was very nice, the wait staff was awesome. The food was very good with a good selection each night. We tried eating in the Tuscan Grill for breakfast that is set up for elite members but we weren't More impressed so opted for the buffet each morning. We had a delightful lunch in the Porch where the waiter was outstanding.

The Tuscan Grill was not worth the extra money it cost. We not happy with our very mundane meal. We would not eat there again.

We were issued vouchers for 3 free drinks each for each night on board which is a wonderful perk for elite members. However it was very difficult to find a bar in which to use them. The music in most of the bars is so loud that conversation is next to impossible.

We did find there were no venues other than the theater to watch special shows. They did try to have things in the public area in the middle of the ship, but the only one who were able to see were the ones next to the railing.

The shows in the theater were very entertaining and we enjoyed all that we saw.

We did not take any shore excursions as we had been to each of the ports several times.

The staff on board the Reflection were so nice and helpful.

We would probably sail on the Reflection again and definitely with Celebrity. Less

Cabin was pretty, but lacking in drawer space. The closet was difficult to get intoLove that the light stayed on in bathroom all the time. It was a great night light
