Pros: Great ports of call, value of cruise, great food at LeBistro & Cagneys (extra charge), outstanding entertainment for a cruise ship - the acrobats even performed well with the pitching of the ship. Good service in specialty restaurants and in the Grand Pacific dining room. The Great Outdoors was great for casual breakfast al fresco. Met great people on the cruise critic site with which we shared dining, drinks and shore excursions!

Cons: Food was awful, even in some of the specialty (extra charge) restaurants - especially the italian one. Found a rock in the manicotti (yes, a pea sized piece of granite!) one night, bone fragment in rice another night - and this was in the restaurant, not the buffet. Desserts were gelatinous messes and just plain bad - with the exception of the sorbets and ice creams. Alizar restaurant was worn out and the service was under par - obviously training new servers. Asian and Indian food on the buffet were very good - but everything else was average or less. The hot tubs and pools are not monitored for small children use - babies in diapers in the pool observed, and one approx 3 year old child was placed in the hot tub without her parents joining - obviously to urinate (she was in there for about a minute while the parents watched, she waited... smiled... and then got up and left). Strange decor for a Med cruise - still looks like Hawaii everywhere, from the large flower lights to the artwork - very Hawaiian.

Room location on the 10th floor was very convenient to everything. Average service in rooms - not as good as we've experienced in the past with other ships. Shower drain didn't work very well and left water all over the bathroom floor - used many towels to sop up every day so it wasn't slippery.
