My mom and I decided to let the nice people at Royal Caribbean make Thanksgiving dinner for us, and so we set forth on a cruise to the Caribbean for Thanksgiving. We have sailed 5 times from Bayonne, Nj. This was our first time leaving from Baltimore, and Baltimore was not nearly as well-organized as Bayonne. My almost 92 year old mom needs a wheelchairfor the long distance to board the ship. In Bayonne this was never a problem. In Baltimore, Mom had to walk so far to get to the wheelchair that she was exhausted. Once we were on the ship we went to the Windjammer Cafe for lunch and then to our cabin.

We had a Junior Suite. We were very pleased with the closet space and especially with the drawer space. Hooray! We had someplace to put our clothes. We had a nice table for 2 in the Main Dining Room with friendly people sitting next to us. Our waitress, Sharon, and her assistant waiter, Alberto, did an outstanding job and helped to make dinner a lovely experience each evening.

Our cabin steward, Dan, also did an excellent job. We would like to commend Ricardo and Lourdes at Guest Services for their assistance when Mom needed a wheelchair during stormy weather. We loved listening to music in the lounges after dinner. It is a lovely way to end the day. We enjoyed our cruise and are ready to pack our bags and sail again.
