Embarkation went very well and we were on the ship by 11 a.m.

Enjoyed exploring the ship. Went to dinner in My Fair Lady dining room 1st night and service was very slow. Husband was happy with his prime rib but my broiled fish was dry and tasteless. Appetizers and side dishes were pretty tasty. Based on the service we got in the dining room, we didn't go back. We went to the Welcome Aboard show in the theater. It was a comedian and he was not funny at all. I felt kind of bad for him though as people were getting up and leaving the theater in droves.

Didn't go back to see him again on Adult comedy night based on the first experience.

Liked the food in the Windjammer and staff was very friendly. It seems to be very crowded though, especially at breakfast and lunch. We didn't get off the ship in Nassau as we had been there several times. We enjoyed exploring the ship but wish there had been more to do. We weren't impressed with the midnight buffet and didn't eat much of it. 2nd show in the theater was a husband and wife magician team which we did enjoy but it wasn't very long. Found some crabby workers on board, notably in the Park Cafe, one of the shops, and Guest Services. Same goes for the main dining room. There was very little exchange between the waiters and diners and they never asked if we wanted anything else to drink after our first order Went to CocoCay but was dissapointed that the Majesty of the Seas was also there so there were no beach chairs to be had. We ate the barbecue lunch (decent) and then went back to the ship so we could sit down.

The show with dancers and singers was supposedly the 1st show this group had done and they did an excellent job even though Broadway tunes are not my favorite.

We had room 7523 (inside) and it was great. I only heard noise one day when some kids were running down the halls. Children and teens on board were very well behaved.

Music around the ship in the Centrum was pretty good and we spent some time there listening to a couple of groups. The music on the pool deck was deafening and I couldn't understand much of what they were singing.

Debarkation went well as we carried off our luggage. We were off the ship by 8:30.

Cabin review: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

D17523
Room was larger than rooms we have had before on Royal Caribbean. It was clean and we had avery nice cabin steward. He's the only one we left an extra tip for. By the way, we booked one week before the cruise.
