This was our 1st TA but our 25th cruise. We stayed at the Hotel Canton in Barcelona the night before. Great pre-cruise hotel & quick cab ride to the port. The ship, while a little tired, was much nicer than I thought it would be. Did feel that it lacked that "outdoor" feeling. would have loved an ocean breeze while in the Windjammer. Café Promenade was a great spot for a quick snack. Played a lot of Trivia with a nice group of "new" friends. Ice show was FAB!, Hypnotist was entertaining, heard that the lectures were good but never could leave the Schooner bar where the trivia was. Food was good & while not too much was "outstanding", we never sent anything back. Roxie, our cabin steward was fine, but our waiter, BOGDAN, was the BEST we have EVER had!. There was nothing he could not do or get. Scott our tablemate was late every night & Bogdan pre-ordered for him because he could figure out just what he would want. Casino was large with 300 slots. Staff was almost too invisible.

Cabin TV was awful & the internet was the slowest we have had in recent years. But we still had a great time.

Also, I injured my foot 2 bays before the end of the trip. Went to the doctor's office. Got great treatment there.

Cabin Review

Cabin was fine. Full length couch was a nice treat. Wish the curtains that covered the balcony glass doors were room darkening. Several days the sun came up by 5 A.M. Location excellent. Bathroom could use a little more storage. Closet ample especially when we got extra hangars from our room steward.
