Our first time on Princess and we were quite pleased. We had a mini suite with a balcony on the 10th floor, Aft. Great location near a large almost private deck along the back of the ship great for sightseeing during the glacier days. It was large, nicely refurbished room and the BR was large and even had a tub. We loved the laundry facilities and found them easy to use. The food was the best we've encountered on any cruise line and we've been on 4 others. We always do the anytime dining and it was effortless on this line unlike our experience on another cruise line. I loved the coffee card and we made good use of it and it was well worth the money. Entertainment was fair but adequate. We greatly enjoyed the speaker, Libby Riddle the first woman to win the iditorade. We were less enthralled with our on board historian who seemed a bit full of himself though knowledgable. Loved when the national park rangers spent the day on board for the glacier bay tour.
We took several excursions and found those reasonably priced and well organized.
Overall Princess was the most organized of any line we've been on. My only complaint was the complete lack of info by anyone onboard about the land tour that followed our cruise. In spite of that one gal at the front desk did put us in touch with Princess line overall on the phone and they helped us.
