We've been home almost three months and still can't stop raving about the cruise. he food was excellent. There was a wide selection of menu items as well as venues in which to eat. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor sailaway meals on the rear decks. Just outstanding. I had a veal chop in the main dining room that could have been served in the finest land-based restaurant. The Pinnacle was outstanding as usual. The Lido...well, how many on-board Lido venues on other lines offer poached eggs and fried eggs to order?
The service was wonderful throughout the restaurants and bars. We really had no significant issues and I am admittedly a bit particular...ok..fussy at times. I just can't offer enough praise.
Our only complaint was with the laundry service. We have used the unlimited laundry service for years. They are usually so wonderul I leave the ship wishing I could take the laundry staff home with us. Not this time. They lost multiple items we sent to the laundry. Additionally, the white clothes were routinely returned in a less than lovely shade of grey and black socks were routinely returned loaded, and I mean loaded with lint.
We like the obstructed view cabins. They are well located on the Vista/Signature ships and are very reasonably priced. Like other outside cabins they have a full tub/shower as opposed to just a stall shower.
