Shipboard food was excellent. We tried all 4 of the specialty restaurants, as well as the main dining main dining, and Terrace room. Service there was all very good with a high number of waiters, busboys who knew their stuff.
Ports were pretty much one a day, with the exception of one day at sea. Ship expeditions were good, but pricey for a 50 passenger busload. Changing expedition reservations was possible after the 3 day deadline, but you couldn't get your original expedition money back under 3 days. Would liked to have been in many ports for two days t experience more, but this was just a sampling of what one could come back for on a land based trip later. Although we arrived early on the morning of embarkation, the ship had a bus gives us a nice drive through a lot of Lisbon so we could see it on a quiet Sunday morning. That way we didn't have to wait so long to board.
We never felt there were 1250 passengers onboard. Hardly saw anyone in our 7th floor corridor.
